Drone Soccer Rules
Understanding the drone soccer rules helps players, coaches and referees compete safely and consistently. This guide explains the basic arena setup, player roles, scoring system and match format used in drone soccer.
Stadium
The official arena has the following dimensions and is 4-5m high.
The goalpost has an inner diameter of 60cm, an outer diameter of 100cm, and a width of 20cm, and the center of the goal is located between 3 and 3.5m in height from the surface of the stadium.
Each team consists of a maximum of 5 players and 5 drone balls on the field during a drone soccer match.
One of the five drones is labeled as a striker.
Only the striker can score points by passing an opponent’s goal.
The other player either supports the striker in the attack or defends against the opponent’s striker.
